The computer tomography with cone beam provides the entire volume through just one rotation around the patient’s head, resulting a much lower exposure to radiations.
The 3-D imaging created by CBCT permits a better diagnosis, treatment planning and monitoring, as well as a better analysis of the results, in comparison to the conventional bidimensional images.
